Carmen has been passionate about art since she could first pick up a pencil. She pursued her love of fashion at The University of Texas at Austin, earning her degree in Textiles and Apparel with a focus in Apparel Design. In 2017, she joined Vogue Vignette in its early days and has been a live sketch artist ever since.

As a military spouse, Carmen’s creative journey has taken her from Texas to Alaska and now Colorado. Along the way, she discovered a love for stained glass and expanded her work into new mediums. In 2026, she launched MOSIME, her own gift shop featuring handmade stained glass, art, and other unique goods. Whether sketching, working with glass, or exploring something new, Carmen has never believed in choosing just one way to express herself as an artist.
