FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Texas based, Vogue Vignette is transforming guests into high fashion works of art, live.

Austin, TX – Oct. 25, 2023

Experiential company, Vogue Vignette, has taken the world of live events by storm.  Founded in 2017 by Austin, Tx  based mixed-media artist, Stephanie Jimenez Schiller, Vogue Vignette’s artists attend fashion-influenced events such as retail grand openings, weddings, charitable galas and magazine launches where they offer an opportunity for guests to have a unique, interactive experience and to leave with a one of a kind personalized fashion illustration of themselves to take home.  It’s been important to Schiller that her own interactions with guests is experiential, “I want them to feel seen, admired and celebrated”.  With a swift hand and engaging personality that makes guests feel at ease, it’s no surprise that Vogue Vignette has amassed a clientele with the likes of Ferragamo, Gucci, Kendra Scott, Louis Vuitton, Neiman Marcus and Tiffany & Co. to name a handful.

In the early stages of the venture, Schiller handled every facet of Vogue Vignette herself.  She says,  “ I answered every email.  Took every phone call.  Designed every graphic.  Built the website.  And sketched every guest at every event.”  With the help of SCORE mentors Michael Harkin and Richard Jozwiakowski as well as Austin’s Artist Inc. she was able to craft a plan for the future of Vogue Vignette. The company's rapid growth, with Schiller personally illustrating at over 65 events annually, led to clients requesting multiple artists for larger gatherings. To meet this demand, Schiller expanded her team, now with artists in Austin, San Antonio and Dallas.

One of Schiller's first hires was Carmen Mosnia Hodge, a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Drawing on her experience as a fashion illustration instructor at Mary Margaret Quadlander’s Austin School of Fashion Design, Schiller ensured that Carmen was event-ready. Reflecting on this pivotal decision, Schiller notes, “having an amazing artist like Carmen by my side took a little pressure off of me as well as introduced the idea of booking multiple artists for bigger events.” With Mosnia Hodge now based in Fairbanks, Alaska, Vogue Vignette has begun expanding its presence across the Pacific Northwest and Canada.  “I am so proud and honored to have been a part of Vogue Vignette from the beginning. I want to help Vogue Vignette reach new levels,” says Carmen.

Stephanie Schiller's mother, Gladys Jimenez, joined the team in 2019, initially working part-time to assist with lead follow-ups and client conversions.  “When she asked if I would come on board full-time in 2022, my answer was "yes".  She made me an offer I couldn't refuse!”  The two have enjoyed laughing, working and traveling together while continuing to grow Vogue Vignette.  Since starting, Jimenez has become the official team Mom to the artists and assistants.  A nurturing spirit, she has enjoyed getting to know each member of the team saying, “the diversity of talented artists we have at Vogue Vignette is mind blowing!”  Jimenez marvels at Vogue Vignette and considers herself blessed to be part of the journey while sharing the artists' remarkable abilities with a wider audience.

In 2022, Vogue Vignette made a strategic addition to its team with the appointment of Alyssa Muñoz, a Texas State graduate, as the Social Media and Events Manager. Alyssa's first event was the 2022 Create and Cultivate conference during SXSW  at the LaCroix Sparkling Water activation with California based, Slaack Productions.  Vogue Vignette’s presence at the activation garnered immense demand. Alyssa recalls, "The queues seemed endless, winding around inside the building with people waiting over 2 hours to receive a mesmerizing illustration from my talented boss, Stephanie. The genuine smiles on everyone's faces made it a truly unforgettable experience." Beyond managing social media and digital content, Alyssa actively engages with guests at events, further enhancing the Vogue Vignette family's collective spirit.

Does Vogue Vignette travel?  Absolutely.  Jetsetters at heart, Vogue Vignette’s growing team of fashion illustrators and assistants travel nationwide and beyond to create beautiful artwork and countless unforgettable moments of joy for their clients and guests. Recent trips to Nassau, Bahamas and Napa Valley, California has Schiller asking, “where to next?”

With big wins from The Knot Best of ‘22, ‘23 and Best Specialty Entertainment of 2023 from the International Live Events Association of Austin, Vogue Vignette continues to be a “a total out-of-the-box idea for any event,” says former Tribeza Magazine Digital Media Manager, Hannah Morrow.  To check availability for your upcoming or future event, visit voguevignette.com or email Booking Manager, Gladys directly at gladys@voguevignette.com
